Your starting question
Your question and starting clues frame the investigation. They stay separate from evidence returned by the public index.
“Which public pages connect to this profile?”
YOUR QUESTION. PUBLIC CLUES.
Start with a public profile and a question. Follow the clues, understand possible connections, and inspect the evidence.
Ossary helps everyday people research public online presence. Ask what you want to find out, add a starting link, and work through a private case with cited findings and clear unknowns.
Public sources · Cited findings · Private cases
Public web index only. Private and unindexed pages stay out of reach. Possible connections remain interpretations, and a matching name never verifies identity.

“Which public pages connect to this profile?”
Short excerpts from retained sources, each with a citation and an explanation of how it relates to your starting links.
S1 · example.org/in/mira-example lists “Designer at Acme Studio”.
AI interpretations are labeled. A name-only match stays unconfirmed, and missing dates or conflicting claims become questions to investigate.
S3 · A bakery team page uses the same name, but no evidence links it to the starting profile.
HOW IT WORKS
A focused investigation, with the evidence always in reach. Read the full methodology →
Add a question and one to three known public profiles or websites. Include a full name if it helps the search.
Ossary searches a public web index and keeps up to ten relevant sources per round. With AI enabled, it uses the evidence to plan focused additional searches, then explains possible connections with citations.
Read source statements, labeled AI interpretations, and unresolved questions. Your private case saves as research progresses. Reopen it, inspect earlier rounds, and continue with one follow-up question.
SAMPLE INVESTIGATION
Follow a fictional designer’s public sources, inspect a possible connection, and see why a misleading namesake stays unresolved.

What Ossary does, and what it can’t do.
Start with a question and one to three known public links. Ossary searches an index, uses the returned evidence to plan focused follow-up searches when AI is available, and builds a private investigation report with source excerpts, labeled interpretations, and open questions. Research saves automatically, so you can reopen the case and ask one follow-up question.
Everyday users who want help understanding a public online presence. You might compare public profiles, explore someone’s published professional background, or make sense of pages that share a name. You do not need investigation experience.
Yes, for legitimate research into an adult’s public online presence. Each investigation requires you to confirm that you are an adult and will not use it for harassment, private access, or location tracking. Public availability does not remove someone’s privacy rights.
Private, login-only, app-only and unindexed pages, or anything offline. Ossary searches a public web index, not company registries, court records or platform member databases. It cannot verify identity, reveal every account, or establish current activity.
AI can suggest bounded searches, compare retained excerpts, and explain possible connections. Its interpretations are labeled and cite retained sources. Quotes and citation references are checked against the saved evidence. A citation shows where an interpretation came from; it does not prove the interpretation is true.
The app tells you. Guided mode can organize available source evidence without AI interpretations. An empty search, a partial failure, and an unavailable check are different outcomes. Missing results never prove that a page or account does not exist.
