OSSARY · PRELAUNCH PROTOTYPE
Privacy notice
What this prototype collects, how the example report works, and how to remove your launch interest.
The public demo
The example report uses fictional names and synthetic sources. It does not accept personal search inputs, contact a search provider, or save a report to our database. Its download creates an example report on your device.
Registering launch interest
If you submit the optional interest form, we require your explicit consent and store your email address, a service-interest label, and the reservation date. Email addresses are encrypted before database storage. Authorized administrators can read reservations to assess interest and, with your consent, contact you about a launch. No email delivery service is connected, so submission does not automatically send an email.
The current form does not offer a paid plan, take a payment, or create a customer account. Use an email address you control.
Measurement and security
The current public website sends no first-party analytics events and has no third-party analytics or session recording. Earlier versions offered optional consented page and plan measurement. Those historical records may remain in the private dashboard and are separate from launch reservations.
IP addresses are used to limit abusive requests and are not stored with launch reservations or measurement records. Short-lived security counters use a keyed, hashed IP identifier and expire after the limit window; expired counters are cleared on subsequent requests.
Removing your reservation
After a new reservation, the page displays your personal removal link. Save it: this prototype does not email the link or provide email-based recovery. Anyone with a valid removal link can remove its reservation.
If a submission needs a retry, keeping the same page open lets a retry for the same email recover the same removal link. Reloading or leaving the page ends that retry capability. If your email was already reserved in another page session, your original reservation and original removal link remain in place; a later submission does not grant new removal rights.
Opening a valid link and confirming removal deletes the associated reservation. Reservations remain until you remove them or an administrator deletes them. Historical measurement records remain until administrative deletion and are not deleted by a reservation removal. This prototype has no automatic retention schedule. Separate backups and exports may retain earlier records.
Hosting and storage
Vercel hosts the website and API. Supabase stores the database in the United States. These providers may process IP addresses and request metadata to deliver the service, maintain security, and operate infrastructure logs.
The private Search Lab
The lab requires an administrator login and uses an essential session cookie. Reports and provider settings are stored separately from the launch form. Synthetic lab scenarios make no search-provider calls. A configured live search sends its query to the selected search service and may send returned snippets to the configured AI provider. Review the provider configuration before running an authorized live case.
